A few years ago I started a wonderful working collaboration with one of the curators of the British Museum of London.
Sebastien Rey is an incredibly talented #archaeologist, but even more so, is his awesome capacity to narrate incredible stories full of adventures, timeless landscapes and forgotten gods.
After some expeditions to Iraq, he brought back to London some disconcerting discoveries about the #Sumerian era, which changed the historical image of this fantastic civilization (especially with regard to metalworking).
FOR THE GODS OF GIRSU
One of his publications has already been printed by Archeopress: "For the gods of Girsu", for which I made two illustrations.
A new book will soon be published by the #BritishMuseum and will be accompanied by 4 unpublished plates illustrated by me.
